Water Treatment
Many waters are polluted by oils or other materials in the manufacturing process. Most waters need to be treated before they can be discharged to a City sewer. Water treatment removes excess levels of contamination so that the waters can be discharged to a POTW (Public Owned Treatment Works) and then onto city treatment plants. This is normally accomplished by filtering, clarifying, flocculating, or other means.
