Environmental Remediation Specialists (ERS) is a division of AMEREX Companies. ERS was originally formed in 1990 with a primary focus in emergency response. Additional disciplines include remediation services, industrial services, training and consulting. AMEREX acquired the assets of ERS in early 2006.
AES has enhanced the abilities of ERS in qualified staff, additional asset resources and management. The ERS principal geographic focus is Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Texas. The ERS concept of emergency response and services is being implemented in each AES location.
Specific services include:
- Emergency Response: spill responses, bio-hazard clean-up, water contamination, clean-up, heavy equipment services, and disposal
- Industrial Services: confined space, tank clean-out, waste management, stabilization services, equipment decontamination, remediation, vacuum truck services, UST removals, soil transportation, heavy equipment services
- Training: EPA, OSHA and DOT
- Consulting: contiguous planning, permitting, audits, and site investigations
- Demolition Services: industrial and environmental demolition services
Typical projects of ERS include: fuels spills, plant closures, bloodborne pathogens, underground storage tanks, confined space entry, cargo transfers, chemical spill response, and drum recovery & lab packing
